Deck Geniee is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a data principal — including rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) for users in India.
Account data: Name, email address, and password (hashed by Supabase Auth). We never store your password in plaintext.
Content data: Files and URLs you upload to generate presentations. These are processed and stored to provide the Service.
Analytics data: For presentations you share, we record anonymised viewer data including hashed IP addresses, country codes, and slide engagement events. Raw IPs are never stored.
Usage data: Generation counts and deck activity used to enforce plan limits.
Payment data: Billing is handled by Stripe (international) or Razorpay (India). We do not store card details. We store only the customer ID and subscription status returned by the payment gateway.
We use your data solely to provide and improve the Service. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your content to train AI models.
We use the following third-party services to operate Deck Geniee:
Your account data is retained until you delete your account. Deleted decks are permanently removed within 30 days. Viewer analytics are retained for 12 months and then aggregated. Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by Indian financial regulations.
You may request export or deletion of your data at any time. Under the DPDP Act (India), you have the right to access your personal data, correct inaccuracies, and withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@meetgeniee.com. We will respond within 30 days of a verified request.
Shared deck links are hosted at ppto.online (a short-link domain owned and operated by Deck Geniee). Viewing a shared link is subject to this privacy policy. No personal data is collected from viewers beyond hashed IP and anonymised engagement events, unless the deck is configured with an email capture gate.
